I have heard many mothers say that one of the best things, go back to school again in the fall on a calendar. Although summer is the time to loosen our program, I learned that we are losing too much momentum when we take completely out of the calendar in the summer! My home is in a much more orderly, so peaceful and productive if we are keeping a calendar in the summer months, although it is less structured.
I have planned for the summer schoolMonths, but it is in the form of mini-family project. Save the things that I find too much time during the regular school for the summer months to take work well for us. Another reason I like a summer program is to encourage my kids to manage their time well on a consistent basis. I also discovered that it is not profitable for my children have too much free time. It seems that the fighting developed into a leisure, laziness and the typical "I'm bored!" PressTime tends to ward off these problems.
If you have never programmed before the summer, or at all, here are some simple steps to plan and implement a summer program:
1. Seek the Lord
Remember to go to the Lord in all things, even our calendar! I'm looking for him in this will help us win the perspective for our time and keep our priorities in order.
2. Get your entry husbands
I encourage you to try your husbands always input in programming. Many times myThe man will mention something that we want to do this, I never thought of. I did not know if I did not ask for your commitment! It also helps me more reasonable goals and a proper perspective on our day. Since they tend to do too much to do, I appreciate his enormous help in this.
This is also a good time to discuss the areas most vulnerable in our children, we want to help them overcome. The summer months to raise more timeThe things in my children, that some need additional training, and allows us to devote more individual time with each other in order to study the Word of God and grow spiritually. This is also a good time to share our academic year, and I can my struggles and triumphs with my husband and he gives me so much wisdom on how to practically solve my problems and encourages me to continue with the good things.
3. Ask yourself: "How can I bless my husband with our summer?"
When summer arrives, there is oftenadditional homework to be carried out. Do not leave work for your husband, because he is a "working man", but try to alleviate the workload at home, or even by the end of this work for him.
Also ask your husband what he wants with a little help. He can not wish his toolbox organized by you, but may need help with other projects! An example is our garbage. We do not have trash pick up where we live, on weekends or sometimes during the week myThe man has to load the garbage and take it to landfill. One day I thought, why am I leaving this to him? He is not really as it seems, especially after sitting for a week! Now I am with the intention of a bag or two to the dump when I take leave. Since the image of a few minutes the road is a simple task to bless my husband.
4. Brainstorm a list of things you always wanted to do with your children, your home and all otherAreas.
As a homeschooling mom, who has done most of my time with the school. I often have no time for major projects at home, and I find that I do many things that I like to sit, so that we on the right track with our studies would be eliminated. The summer months are a great time to get the big (and small) projects that always seem to put aside during the school year ahead. This summer some of the things we want to achieve are:
Clean and organize basement
AlignSewing Room
Scrapbook with Children
Rubber stamping and card making with children
embroidery projects with the girls
Painting the nursery
Hold a garage sale
Complete unit, a study of bird
Gardening and learn about the collection and preservation
I asked my children for a couple of ideas for things you would like to do this summer. They have a lot of things I would like to do with mom! This allows us to complete projects and funspend much time together in a way that we can not do during the school year.
Once you have this list, you can easily decide what you want to do, and plan your day. You'll be surprised what you can to be inspired to achieve this!
4. What are some routines in your school year to keep you in the summer?
The maintenance of a morning routine helps us remember the show Saturday morning, where lounging, eating at a given time, and the daypasses with nothing done. While the work on the Sabbath, not good to work every day of the week! Our program will continue to work with quiet time for my kids storage spend with the Lord, our family Bible reading and writing. I also have the routine of afternoon and evening, to keep us on track.
Only listing five things that you would like to happen during this time may help to maintain the momentum through the day. The reason why I am in the morning, afternoon and eveningRoutine, I noticed we've tended to follow the program at full speed in the morning, but somewhere around 10 clock we started to lose sight of our day. With these routines in place, it keeps us on track and has some responsibility for us all. In addition, these routines by the same all the time, it seems easier to back into the school year and I have to retrain the children of each new school year.
Our morning routine like this:
1.Wake up for breakfast /
2. Dress
3. Brush hair and teeth
4. The bed
5. Clean bedroom
Our morning routine is as follows:
1. Wash hands before lunch
2. Help for lunch and
3. Clean up after lunch
4. Get ready for the time of history with his mother
Our morning routine is as follows:
1. Family Devotions
2. Pick-up throughout the house
this is your way clear
3. Get pajamas
4. Hair brush andTeeth
5. Mom you tuck
Since these things never change, where our children are often out of habit, without memory, which was the target of routine operations such as in the first place:)
5. Set some goals for your children and yourself
As I, my husband and I often discuss areas of strengths and weaknesses noted in our children. We try to hit an area to focus on every child, and discuss how we can help. Please look over these areas andthe word of the Lord and how to help our children overcome this weakness. Depending on the age of our children, we too are under discussion, this weakness and set a work plan together. Of course, this good practice to do all year, but in summer we have more time because we work on our rule in our school days. And 'better at this time with the Lord, instead of activities that are not of eternal value to be filled.
I also think I have more timespend with the Lord in the summer. It 'a good time for me spiritually refreshing even on my weaknesses and spend more time with him.
For me, summer is a good time to reflect on the organization in my house as well as reading more focus. I like reading books on education, research and assess what worked and what did not last year, overlooking the curriculum, and to exploit new resources in my school days. For some reason during the school year, booksthe school is the last thing I want to read! But in the summer, I like so much to encourage and prepare me for the next school year to read.
Summer can be a blessed time of refreshment and opportunity! I look forward to warm, sunny days when we grab our books and reading, or go to the park for a picnic can. One time there is no limit for fun, but also creates time for more fun every day because we are more important things to knowhappened. Can I go to sleep at night with a sense of accomplishment, and my husband can safely trust in us because he thought that our days are planned and known.
6. You look for other ways to spend your time in the summer can bless
Do you have friends or family who do not get to visit frequently? The summer months offer a good time to invite others to dinner, or even visit the ones you could not see too often. Be careful not to fill your time with activities outside the home,However, when searching for ways to find a blessing to others creative with the extra time in the summer.
One way we have that has happened in our family have one day to visit every two weeks. We make a list of friends and family and plan a route to visit her. My children often make a note or draw a picture for the person you visit. Let those who are widowed, elderly, or need to focus encouragement.
Pray for this extra time you have, if the school isBreak in the summer, and I ask the Lord to show how this time to good use, so you can bless others. I am sure he will show you many things you can do your family.
Finally, have fun and enjoy this short season of warm, sunny days with your children! You can have a meaningful and satisfying summer will be fun for all and to avoid boredom with a little 'time to plan ahead.
